My little girl has a long but coarse hair. After getting tired of her tears each time she sees the comb, i used a texturizer on her hair. But now i want her natural tresses back. Please how do i get her hair back into its natural state?

Deep condition her hair once a week, get a spray bottle, mix 80% water + glycerine/aloe vera juice or 2tbsp of olive/coconut/black seed or any carrier oil, shake always and Spray on her hair morning and might, it does not matter if she has braids or cornrows, this helps to keep her hair moisturized, thus will not be dry which is what causes the pain. If she has braids on, spritz the hair, before undoing the braids. moisture is what her hair needs and that will be gotten through the water+glycerine or any of the oils. Then you can apply Shea butter, put her hair in a bun/twist or single braid and cover with a satin cap before she goes to bed. In the morning undo the braids or twists, you will notice her hair will be soft and manageable.

My hair itches me a lot, i have used so many hair creams to no avail please what should i do?

A common cause of itchy scalp is dandruff so when you deal with dandruff then you are sure to have dealt with itchy scalp too but you can use this recipe for itchy scalp

Mix 2 tablespoons each of Lemon juice, olive oil, massage into scalp, cover with shower cap, let sit for 20mins and rinse with shampoo. This is because lemon rids the scalp of loose dry flakes and olive oil is moisturizing.

What cream can i use to make my hair grow long and beautiful?

There is no magic to these things, if you care for your hair in a healthy way, it will grow long, and most importantly you retain length as all hair grow half an inch every month, so your hair grows but the issue is you are not retaining length because your hair is breaks, and when the tip breaks and falls off, it looks like your hair is not growing but it does, so we would be looking at how to retain length. What is natural hair relaxer? And how do i apply it?

It is a natural way to loosen your natural curl pattern you mix the juice of a lime with about half a cup of coconut milk and scoops of yogurt.  Let the solution sit for a few hours until a foam forms on top of the bowl.  Scoop off that foam and massage into your hair.  Allow it sit for a 1-2 hours and then wash your hair.  The problem with this method is you end up wasting a lot of milk and lime.  Also, the mixture you do apply to your head can break down, run off your hair if your consistency is not thick enough.

A better way is to do this is to add your lime and coconut milk to a little bit of olive oil and a spoon or two of cornstarch.  Whisk all these ingredients together over a low heat until they form the consistency of a conditioner that you might find in a store.  This ensures that it will stay on your head better.  The olive oil also helps to keep your hair hydrated.  Then wrap your hair up in a plastic shower cap for a few hours.  Again, shampoo and moisturize as normal.  These coconut milk and lime hair relaxed recipes are good ways for you to naturally relax your hair.

What is the difference between coconut milk and coconut cream?

They are almost d same thing as both of them are gotten by boiling the coconut meat with water after extracting the meat from the shell, now the difference between coconut milk and cream is simply in their consistency .Coconut milk has the liquid consistency of cow’s milk and is made from simmering one part shredded coconut in one part water. Coconut milk is the basis of most Thai curries u find in the stores while Coconut cream is much thicker and richer. It is made from simmering four parts shredded coconut in one part water. The cream that rises to the top of a can of coconut milk is also considered coconut cream.

I heard i can use beer on my hair, is it true? If yes, what does it do to hair and how do i apply it?

Beer contains malt, which nourishes your hair and gives you shiny hair. The yeast in a can of beer strengthens the hair and gives it volume.

You can use any kind of beer for this, but do not use  beers with a very strong smell.

How to do it

  1. Take your can or bottle of beer, pour it into a container. Let it sit for a while (30 minutes–1 hour) until it is room temperature and some of the carbonic acids are gone.
  2. Wash your hair  – using conditioner only, no ‘poo, shampoo or whatever you regularly use. However, you don’t need to use conditioner after your shampoo
  3. Tilt your head forwards and pour the beer over the back of your head, trying to get the beer all over your hair. Massage your hair and scalp a little bit to get the beer into the hair.
  4. Rinse your hair thoroughly.
  5. If you don’t like the smell afterwards, you can add essential oil.
